How to Make More Time in Your Day

Let's face it, even the girls at Melange sometimes feel a little lazy in the morning. Getting up and getting ourselves pretty to face the world and pamper and beautify our lovely clients isn't always on the top of our list as we rush out the door. If you sympathize, then we have several ways for you to cut time off your beauty routine and have more time for yourself.

Ignore Your Eyes
We love our eyes and enjoy playing up this feature, but it takes quite a bit of extra time in the morning to mascara and line and shade. Our solution: Minky eyelash extensions. Look like you're wearing false lashes right out of bed. They eliminate the need for mascara (and, in fact, have a longer life if you don't use any) and make you feel movie star gorgeous.

Paint Your Nails Less
Manis and pedis are a time suck. Even if you do a stellar job, you can be typing away at your job or doing the dishes and notice that after only a few days they are chipping something fierce. Boo! It's the worst, right? Either you have to go bare or have to waste the time to redo them. Somehow, your toes probably last longer, until you need them to and find yourself at the pool with half of them flaked off. Megan is our resident Shellac guru. These manis and pedis last up to two weeks without chipping or fading, meaning you have all those extra hours to spend doing other things you love to do.

Stop Shampooing
Okay, not altogether, but some. Washing your hair everyday does not help it stay healthy and dries out your scalp. Stretch your shampoos to every other or every three days instead (eliminating the need to spend hours blowdrying, curling, straightening and such) and use a dry shampoo  in between washes if you're findng your hair a bit oily. We sell different brands in the salon, but you can also make your own really easily.
